Ulises Recoleta Suites

The front desk staff were very helpful and spoke English, and the hotel is easy to find. My room was large, with a couch, a nice bathroom, and a kitchen with a microwave, stove, plates, and spoons, though no pots or pans. It's in a safe, walkable area among designer shops, restaurants, and other hotels. The rooms feel dated. It seemed clean, but I saw a bug crawling on my bed at night. The TV was small and poor quality, I could hear people in other rooms, and the blanket had a tiny stain, though otherwise it looked clean. I'd normally give it four stars, but I had no issues overall, so I'm giving it five based on my own stay.

We didn't try the breakfast, so I can't comment on that. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and met our needs, with excellent amenities in a convenient spot in Recoleta. Sure, you could pay six times as much to stay at the Alvear, but there's no need. If the breakfast is like the rest of the experience, I'm sure it's perfectly acceptable. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Recoleta.

The location is great, and the rooms are clean, quite nice, and more spacious than I'd expect at this price. There was a small toilet problem in our first room, but the front desk handled it right away. Solid service, and we'd come back.

The location was great, and the staff were lovely. But during our five-day stay they never changed the towels, and breakfast was really poor. The coffee came in a tea bag, which I'd never seen before!
