Urbe Hotel

The furniture looked nice, the water was hot, and the hotel is close to the Buquebus port and main attractions. But the problems outweighed those positives, which is a real shame. Our first room smelled awful, and its window lock was broken so it wouldn't close properly. The single-glazed window also made the room very cold and let in every bit of street noise. Check-in took 30 minutes for the two women ahead of me, which is far too long for a standard arrival. They also make you sign a very strict policy: a 50% charge for late checkout after 11.00, no eating in the room, no responsibility for their vault, which seemed suspicious, and many other extra charges. This was our second stay in Buenos Aires, and I'd say avoid this place.

The hotel felt clean, modern and new, and the location was very good. Reception gets a ten out of ten from me for the impeccable service from check-in onward. We had a great experience, and I'd absolutely recommend staying here.

The bathroom was spotless, the shower water was excellent, and the towels and sheets were immaculate. The rooms are comfortable and cleaned every day. The concierge staff are friendly and helpful, and the owners are incredibly attentive.

We felt right at home here. The owners were wonderful hosts, and everyone on staff gave fantastic service. They took care of all our requests and then some. Our room was spacious and super clean, with a huge bathroom. Highly recommend.
