The rooms were very comfortable for sleeping. Some of us did have trouble with noise from a nearby nightclub between 2am and 5am. We started with a welcome dinner of pumpkin mix and chorizo, which was absolutely delicious. Steak came after, though it wasn't great. We were full anyway.

We stayed at ViaVia guesthouse and used it as our base while traveling around Argentina. They kindly stored our bags for us, which I'd recommend doing if it fits your travel plans. Simon was incredibly helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are simple but very clean and comfortable, and in my opinion the location is one of the best areas to stay in Buenos Aires.

The location is especially good if you're there on a Sunday and want to see the San Telmo market, which you really should. The rooms are simple but comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The portions are generous and the food is tasty. The room is a bit small, so it's a good idea to avoid the lunch rush by coming earlier or later. The restaurant is part of a hostel, which gives the place a modern, avant-garde look.

I stumbled on this place while walking around San Telmo on Sunday, which is Fair Day and gets VERY, VERY crowded. Somehow it was almost empty. There are tables outside, the service was great, and both servers spoke English. The food came out hot and quickly, and the coffee was great too. I'll definitely come back before I leave Bs As.
