I wasn’t satisfied with the service. The elevator is accessible, but it’s very old and not suitable for older people or those with disabilities, especially anyone with a heart problem. They don’t serve lunch or dinner, so if you get hungry, they send you to a restaurant outside. You also have to complain before they’ll turn on the air conditioning in your room. My company paid for my stay, but it still gets a thumbs down from me.

For Buenos Aires on a budget, the location is good and the rooms are okay. Keep your expectations modest and it’s fine for the price. The building looks like it’s from the 1970s, and the lifts kept breaking. That wasn’t much of an issue for me on the 5th floor, but must be a pain for people staying higher up. To get the AC turned on, you have to call reception and ask. Breakfast is very limited, with the same options every day, though there are nearby places to eat, including a Starbucks just a few steps away.

If you just need a cheap hotel, this might be okay. But if you want a nice-looking room, a comfortable bed, an employee who speaks English, or even coffee you can drink at breakfast, this probably isn’t the place for you. My room looks onto a brick wall, with a loud air conditioner right outside the window. Renovation work started next door to my room at 08 a.m. I do not recommend this hotel at all!

Being in Buenos Aires's business district is a real plus. The rooms, though, aren't kept up very well, and since smoking is allowed inside, there's often a cigarette smell.
