Gran Hotel Buenos Aires

The front desk and the rest of the staff were so helpful and welcoming. When my two kids came down with colds during our winter break, I was especially glad we were staying here. Gran Hotel Buenos Aires made us feel looked after, and we can't wait to come back. The location is right in central Buenos Aires, and our room was spacious. Housekeeping did an excellent job. Breakfast was a good, affordable way to start the day, with coffee and delicious pastries. I would've liked more savory choices, but honestly it's hard to find much to complain about.

Getting around was easy, with lots of attractions and restaurants within walking distance, and the location is the hotel's biggest strength. The air conditioning and reliable Wi-Fi were appreciated, and we found the stay very comfortable overall. Our family room had two levels, with a luxurious master suite upstairs and a large Jacuzzi tub. The bathrooms could use updating, but the spacious setup makes this an excellent choice for families.

We left a day before our reservation ended because the bathroom smelled like urine the whole time. We even bought Lysol at the 25 hr grocery store and cleaned it ourselves, but the odor stayed for all three days. The room was perfect otherwise, which made this really disappointing.

The front desk staff were friendly and greeted us every time. Breakfast was a typical Argentinian breakfast, and the location felt great and safe, with parks, attractions, restaurants, and grocery stores nearby. It's a good budget stay in Buenos Aires. You get the basics, a simple TV, bed, bath, and fridge, which was enough for us while we were out exploring the city. I'd come back if I'm visiting BA. I didn't take photos, just one of the bird on my window balcony lol.
