I go back whenever I get the chance, and it's such a lovely place to unwind. The house has so much history, with roomy, comfortable rooms and private bathrooms. Breakfast is country-style, served in the big, picturesque patio. Sonia and Luis run the place themselves, and the service is hard to beat. They keep making improvements for guests. A truly magical place that I always recommend.

The pool is spotless, and there's plenty of room around the barbecue. Behind the house is a vineyard where they make their own wine, and in season you can go in and try some delicious grapes. The owners are always attentive, and staying here feels like being in an old-fashioned home. It's a very nice place.

Sonia, the owner, is very friendly and tells you about the history of the house. Las Tinajas de San Carlos, Salta has some very old sections and is full of history, a place you really should see. It's spacious, clean, comfortable and peaceful, with a pool, and works well for a family trip.

The views are magnificent, and the old house and rooms have been kept in beautiful condition. Everything was clean and worked perfectly. Breakfast was spectacular, with homemade jams every day. A lovely spot for spending several days and enjoying San Carlos.
