Hotel Costanera del Sur

The food is delicious, and you don’t have to wait long. I’ve eaten here several times and really like the quiet, relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The seafood tasted incredibly fresh, and the food was delicious. I came for lunch, and the waiters gave excellent service. The view is lovely, the music is nice and kept at a comfortable volume, and the place is always spotless. I’ll definitely come back.

The locked parking lot is spacious, and at night it keeps non-guests out. That was a plus, but the rest of my experience at this hotel/restaurant ranged from mediocre to poor. The rooms are basic, with an old TV that gets bad reception and just one hanger in the closet. The shower has a single fixed jet with no way to adjust it, strong enough to feel like it’s drilling into your skull 😆. There was also a strong, odd smell like disinfectant. The food smell reaches reception as soon as you enter, even at breakfast, because the kitchen and reception aren’t separated. Restaurant noise carries into the guest room area, especially when the door giving access to the rooms is left open. If you park at the back, you have to go all the way around with your luggage to enter through reception. Nobody told us there might be another entrance. They didn’t replace the toilet paper during cleaning. I asked at reception and was told it would be brought to my room, but it never arrived. Breakfast was very simple, just coffee or coffee with milk and two slices of toast per person with jam. More choices, another jam flavor, or maybe butter would be welcome. Service varied by time of day since different people worked at reception. The women were friendly and helpful, while the men left a lot to be desired. One man even tried to charge my partner for hot water for mate, although nobody had mentioned a charge and there was no sign about it. There are several things this hotel/restaurant needs to improve for guests to have a more comfortable stay.

The room was basic and had no air conditioning. For the price, I expected a newer TV. Breakfast was terrible, just coffee with milk and a piece of toast with butter.
