Gran Aldea Hotel

I’d recommend this hotel and come back, though I’d pick a room with less foot traffic. The staff were spectacular, and the location is quiet and ideal, just half a block from the center. The hotel and room were very clean. The outdoor pool was lovely and the water crystal clear, although it could use daily vacuuming and have leaves and insects removed. We had a simple but tasty breakfast, and the heated pool and living/dining room were very nice. Our room faced the balcony and shared hallway, so it shook whenever someone walked past. A sign asking guests to keep quiet might help.

We had a wonderful time here. It’s a simple, beautiful hotel just around the corner from the center, and feels very family-friendly. The staff were friendly and respectful. There’s a terrace with tables, two shared grills, and a lovely view. The lounge has a pool table, foosball, TV, and an armchair. A heated pool is inside, with a park and outdoor pool as well. Covered and uncovered parking are available for an extra fee.

Carlos runs the place with his staff and makes sure guests have a pleasant stay. It’s peaceful and family-friendly, with a lovely garden and pool. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the price feels well worth it. Breakfast is excellent, with delicious pastries and coffee that reminds me of childhood. Highly recommended!

The service was friendly and the location was good, but I’d call this a one-star hotel. The Wi-Fi was very unreliable, and breakfast was basic and the same each day, just tea, croissants, and small books, nothing else. Our room was very simple. The worst thing was the heat: there was only one tiny fan, and it didn’t move any air at all. Something to keep in mind!
