Leandro, the owner, really goes out of his way to help you feel at home, even if you don’t speak Spanish. The rooms overlooking the lovely, warm pool are very comfortable, and there’s a kitchen where you can help yourself to food and drinks, note down what you take in an honesty book, then pay cash at the end. There’s no fresh milk or butter, though you can get those in town if you need them. It’s a beautiful hotel in a small, pleasant town with some fine restaurants. This was one of our nicest stays in Argentina.

We landed at EZE, picked up a hire car, and drove about 1.5 hours north to stay here. It was a great first taste of Argentina, especially if you’re heading north after arriving from the UK. Leandro was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The accommodation is beautiful, and the self-service kitchen and dining areas are fantastic and very relaxed. You can take what you need from the shop and write down your purchases on a pad. We had delicious local cheese and wine. Highly recommend it. Thank you, Leandro.

The pantry was wonderfully well stocked, with everything carefully thought through so nothing was missing, and the prices were reasonable. The Quinta’s spaces are all set up for relaxing and enjoying yourself, with warm lighting that made the evenings lovely. Our room was much bigger than we expected and very clean. Leandro was attentive and respectful throughout, and the service was excellent. We had a wonderful time at Quinta Loma Alta and will be back. Thank you!

The owners are so hospitable that you feel like friends visiting their country home. It’s a couples-only place, with no pets or children, which makes it perfect for resting and unwinding. Everything is new, works well, and is maintained beautifully. The rooms, big garden, plants, and thoughtfully designed, decorated pool make for a truly gorgeous place. The pantry is a clever, practical setup, stocked with all the supplies and cooking gear you need.
