Cariló Princess

Awesome!

We went two weeks ago to celebrate my husband's birthday, and the whole autumn weekend was wonderful. It's a beautiful, peaceful, clean place, fully equipped, with excellent service from a lovely, incredibly friendly staff. The kids had a blast, with games both in and out of the pool. The pool was the highlight for me. It was divine and perfectly warm, a truly heated pool in cold weather, which we hadn't found in a long time. Bathrobes and towels are provided. The apartment was lovely and well equipped, and even had a water dispenser. Breakfast was delicious, plentiful, and so fresh. The orange juice was freshly squeezed, and the fruit salad was made to order. They surprised us with a wonderful cake for his birthday, such a lovely touch. You're about two blocks from the beach, with peacocks roaming around and a very relaxing atmosphere. I can't wait to return to Cariló Princess.

Vivi, Rose, and the rest of the staff deserve a special mention. They were kind, attentive, and clearly had a real love for the place, which I rarely see. The pool was very well cared for, and the children's play area was in excellent condition. The area is quiet and close to the center. Our room was fine, though the layout wasn't ideal. Everything else was very good, especially the excellent cleanliness and the furniture and appliances, which were clean and well maintained. The facilities were good, too. Parking can be annoying, since there isn't enough for everyone and I sometimes had to leave my car a little way off. The beach resort is nice, but the beach bar's service was very poor. Management recently changed, and the disorganization was obvious. Our food took about 35 minutes, and several tables had been cleared and left. The play areas could also use more child safety measures. A small gate could keep kids from getting to the stairs, and the wires or ropes beneath the railings are spaced too widely, so a child could slip through and fall. It would also help to have assistance with luggage. Some rooms are reached by stairs, which can make carrying suitcases and bags difficult if you're not well equipped.

The apartment was very well equipped and everything was clean and lovely. What stood out most was the care they showed us and how attentive everyone was. We arrived at 11 am, and they gave us our room and even served us breakfast. The service was especially excellent. We'll be back!
