It’s a shame, since this used to be a good place. The out-of-season service was very poor: the complex was left with a maid and no night watchman at all. The photo of the empty reception shows how long I had to wait for an administrator to arrive and refund the last two nights I no longer planned to stay. Breakfast was mediocre, with no tea bags, for example. The pool was lukewarm and full of bugs.

We’ve stayed here three times before, and recently spent another week in an apartment above Arbol del Cielo. It’s very spacious as a semi-detached unit, and has covered basement parking. The building shows its age, and I think the owners could do more to maintain it and provide the basics for short stays, like dishes and linens. I can also understand that not every guest treats the facilities properly. The staff more than make up for those shortcomings. Carina at reception and the housekeepers, Claudia and Verónica, were friendly, attentive, and always ready to sort out any issues. The breakfast buffet delivered to the apartment was reasonable and good quality. Thanks for letting us enjoy this lovely place in Cariló again.

We had a comfortable 100-square-meter apartment for five, with a balcony and private grill. It was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was brought to the room, and there was daily housekeeping, covered parking, and a heated pool. The staff were super friendly and always helped whenever we needed something. We went there with friends and would definitely return.

Claudia at the spa was the highlight for me. The resort itself is lovely, though the bathrooms could use some maintenance.
