We had such a lovely stay. Pancho and his wife are wonderful, kind people, and the place is great for families, with lots of greenery. The rooms are comfortable, and the garden is a peaceful spot to sit and enjoy mate. The heated pool was a lifesaver when the beach was windy and cold. Greetings from Gualeguaychú, we'll be back!

Great for families. The apart-hotel is two blocks from the beach, with access by La Serena beach bar. The complex has a garden, a heated pool, and outdoor grills. Rooms are comfortable, and they provide cleaning, fresh linens, and towels. TV, Wi-Fi, and cable are included too.

The park is spacious, and there are barbecue grills and parking. We also really liked the heated pool. Everything was clean and well looked after, and the location is close to everything. A beautiful place to spend a few days as a couple or family.

We won't be staying at this resort again when we return to Valeria del Mar, which is a beautiful, charming place. I'm writing this in the hope that the issues we ran into get fixed, so future guests are treated and looked after better. The safety and maintenance problems were serious. The staircase to our room was in terrible shape, with missing boards that nearly made us fall more than once. There was trash and construction debris caught in gaps between steps, and the railings on both the indoor and outdoor stairs were loose or broken. Outlet covers were loose too. Behind the refrigerator, bricks separating the kitchen from the living room were loose, a real hazard. I've attached photos. Upstairs ventilation was extremely poor, with no exhaust fans in the kitchen or bathroom and only a tiny loft window. The bathroom had no ventilation at all, and the toilet flush was so weak we had to flush three or four times, waiting for it to refill each time. Disgusting. We had to bring down one of the bunk beds because the third bunk under a sofa bed was in deplorable condition. The heated pool had cloudy water for nearly the whole first week. My son and I kept finding mosaic tiles peeling off, leaving sharp patches, and the tiles above the waterline were filthy. Pool maintenance leaves a lot to be desired. It's also not a smoke-free complex. Smoking is banned only inside the units, so smoke from people smoking outside their ground-floor apartments made it almost impossible to enjoy our balcony. We had to shut the balcony door, and with no fans on the main floor on 30°C days, the apartment was unbearable at times. Our kitchen flooded twice because the drain under the counter needed fixing, but it took 24 hours to get it repaired. They said it couldn't be done until the next day because it was Sunday. The reception was always closed. The way we were treated at arrival set a bad tone. Instead of a welcome from the owners, the woman checking us in was rude. When we paid and got our change, one bill was in awful condition. She refused to exchange it, saying, "And who's going to accept it from me later?" as if it was my fault. We arrived at 3:00 PM, left our bags, and came back at 4:00 PM, but still waited until 4:20 PM to check in, even though they'd had since 10:00 AM to clean and prepare the unit. The same woman didn't show us where it was, she just said, "Go to the back, turn left, go up the stairs, and look for apartment 14. It's open." Rude, in capital letters. We were there for two weeks. The next Saturday, we saw some apartments ready by 1 p.m. and people checking in without any trouble.
