Hotel Arenales

The service is excellent, and the breakfast presentation is inventive while still suiting each guest’s taste. It’s in a fantastic spot. The hotel is clearly older and has been renovated, and it looks beautiful. 100% recommended.

We were impressed by the rooftop pool and the restaurant and bar. The menu was good, had vegetarian choices, and was reasonably priced. Our three-day stay was impeccable: the room was comfortable and very clean, and the heating worked great throughout the hotel. Breakfast had plenty of options, and there was private parking. The location is convenient and easy to reach. Every staff member was welcoming and provided excellent service. Thanks for the hospitality, we’d come back.

We were on the fifth floor, where the restaurant and terrace are, so keep in mind there can be noise. The rooftop pool may also get noisy in peak season. For more quiet, I’d ask for a lower floor. We found Booking.com cheaper than paying at the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and nice, and you can ask for one facing the garage for a view of the church. Breakfast has several choices, the dining room is lovely, and the terrace is beautiful. The location is the main draw: it’s just 20 meters from Plaza 25 de Mayo, museums, bars, and the pedestrian area. If you’re traveling by car but worried about its safety, you can leave it and walk to the city’s attractions.

The breakfast is incredibly complete, and the bar service is excellent. We loved the facilities and comfortable rooms, and the terrace is lovely. On cold nights they put out blankets and have heaters by the pool. It’s only steps from the main square. I highly recommend it.
