The outdoor setting is lovely, especially the cared-for garden and pool, which made for a peaceful place to unwind. Inside, our room felt worn and in need of maintenance and updating. We also saw a mouse in the kitchen. The check-out situation was the part that really left a bad impression. The rules we received on arrival didn’t say there was a fee for staying on the property after check-out. Since our flight was three hours after check-out, we asked the day before leaving if we could sit by the pool. Instead of a straightforward answer, we received “new terms of use – important,” adding a USD 30 per person charge to remain after check-out, along with the message “Good morning, New rules 👆🏻”. That fee was introduced after we’d already checked in and been given the original rules. It felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. Clear information from the start, or a more considerate response, would have been appreciated. The grounds are beautiful, but the room’s condition and how this request was handled detracted from our stay.

The garden was lovely, and the pool was a good size with loungers. There’s also a paddle court. Our room and bathroom were spacious, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, with medialunas, breads, several homemade jams, cheese, meats, yogurt, cereal, and drinks. We could check in late and got great service throughout our stay in Luján de Cuyo, which is well placed for visiting wineries. The only drawback was having to buzz in at the gate each time. It could be slow.

Breakfast was the best we’ve had on this trip, and everything was spotless. We had such a relaxing stay at Casona La Chiquita, with beautiful rooms, gardens, and a pool. The padel court was a brilliant extra, and the location worked well for exploring vineyards, with restaurants within walking distance. Can’t recommend it highly enough!

The park and pool area were breathtaking, and having a padel court was a lovely bonus. We were warmly welcomed by our hosts, and the amenities were exceptional. Breakfast was outstanding, with a great range of homemade products. The ladies preparing eggs just the way we liked them added a personal touch. We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful Casona, highly recommend it, and can’t wait to return.

Bea is a wonderful host, and it was easy to get around from this pretty house. Ubers were readily available, which made visiting wineries in the lujan de cuyo region simple, and restaurants and cafes were an easy walk away. The WiFi could be better. Taking calls privately in our room wasn’t possible. Breakfast also could have been fresher and made with higher-quality produce.
