When they couldn't find a taxi to take us to the bus station, he drove us himself so we wouldn't miss it. That was typical of how sweet and helpful the people running this very nice hostel were. They even put on an amazing New Year's dinner for everyone. The facilities were clean and well kept, and we really enjoyed the breakfast. A great experience.

Giesla at the front desk goes out of her way to help everyone, and Carmen worked wonders on my feet with the in room massage. I liked the quaint little place as soon as I walked in. Breakfast didn't offer much variety, though the food was pretty good. The hotel gets extremely hot, and the heater knob doesn't seem to work. The safes don't work either. I'd still highly recommend it.

Léo made our stay more pleasant with his big smile, help with our luggage, and tips on places to visit. Everyone on staff was friendly and eager to help. The hotel itself was warm, comfortable, and very clean. Breakfast is good by Argentinian standards, though coming from Brazil I missed fresh fruit and better pastries. It's a great value for money and really close to everything in el calafate. I'd definitely return and recommend it.

It's near plenty of bars and restaurants, yet the street itself isn't busy. Our room was spacious and clean, the staff very friendly, and breakfast was nice too.
