The owner had agreed to wait for us after we said we'd arrive around 11 pm. When we got there, though, he said it was too late, hadn't made up the beds, and told us to find somewhere else. He suggested a nearby hotel belonging to his friends, but it cost almost twice as much. We'd booked through booking.

Mario took great care of us, and the room in the newer building across from the old mill was roomy and nice. Breakfast was on the small side, though I guess that's normal in Argentina.

We got a warm, enthusiastic welcome and useful suggestions for places to see. The rooms were good, and the terrace beside the pool was pleasant. The restaurant was a letdown: it had just one dish, served very late, and seemed improvised. Had we known, we'd have gone to a proper restaurant. Breakfast was minimal too.

Rody is the kind of host who makes you feel like a friend, and he went far beyond what I can fit into a review to help me personally. After a long day, being welcomed with an ice cold beer was great. My room was huge, the shower was good, and there was plenty of secure parking for my motorcycle. Rody is a rare guy who'll do anything to help. Don't hesitate to stay, and say hello from Mike.

The map pin is in the wrong place, so head to the Museo Molino, one block before it. Rody rides motorcycles too and was keen to help me plan nearby sightseeing and the next leg of my trip. The bedroom was great, with AC and good wifi, and there was a small pool, complimentary breakfast, and secure parking for my motorcycle, bicycles, and a few cars. Couldn't ask for more.
