Breakfast was a letdown: a stale croissant, cold coffee with an odd taste, and Tang instead of orange juice, with no fruit in it. The building and bathrooms are very old, the sheets smelled strange, and one mattress was ancient and sagged all over. Parking is two blocks away, if you can find a space.

The rates weren't clear from the start, though the staff were friendly. Breakfast offered very little variety. My room was damp, but otherwise fine, and the location is excellent, close to the center.

I paid a $40,000 deposit through WhatsApp for a stay I won't be using, then told them in advance I couldn't come. They still refused to return it, saying that was the establishment's policy. Nobody disclosed that rule when I booked. I believe this breaches Article 4 of the National Consumer Protection Law (Law 24.240), which requires suppliers to give consumers clear, accurate, detailed information about essential features of their services and the terms of sale. I've filed a formal complaint with the consumer protection agency. Don't trust them as I did.
