At 8 PM, part of the ceiling fell into the bathroom. It was filthy and disgusting, and no one replied until 10 AM the next day, so we cleaned it ourselves just to be able to use the bathroom. We got a halting apology. Reception is open for very limited hours, and there’s no way to reach anyone outside them. The room was basic but spacious, the only good thing about the place. We asked to stay just two extra hours to get ready for our flight, but they wanted to charge us for another half day. We left our luggage with them, but they wouldn’t even let us use the bathroom before we left. Very disappointing. Definitely NOT recommended.

The apartment wasn’t that bad, and the guy working in the building was friendly and helpful. But I have to leave a bad review because I feel this place ripped me off. I booked based on the information that I could pay cash in local currency, ARS. When I arrived, they told me I had to pay in USD because I’m not an Argentina resident. I was furious. Paying in local currency would have cost less than half at the blue dollar rate, but I had to pay almost 400 USD for one week, and the place absolutely wasn’t worth that. In my opinion, it was really rude to force me to pay by credit card in USD, especially when my booking confirmation said I could pay cash in local currency. I’m not a short-term tourist either. I was in Argentina for a long stay and only needed somewhere for a week before moving into my new apartment after leaving my previous one. Charging tourists more than double seems really unfair. Why assume that being a foreigner means you have lots of money for unfair prices?
The conditions were very bad, and the place was hard to find since there was no sign or anything.
The location and service are the best parts. It was fine for a night or two, though the rustic feel wasn't really for me. We stayed twice and the first visit was better. The mattresses were very soft, and I wasn't sure the sheets were hygienic. On the second stay, the padding was stained and poorly done, with a blanket all bunched up over it. The remote didn't work either.
