We loved our stay! The receptionist was kind, friendly, and attentive, and the service was good. Our room was clean and tidy, with hot water, heating, air conditioning, and lovely warm blankets. We ordered food to have at the hotel, and the waiter prepared the dishes for us. Breakfast was good too, coffee with milk and pastries.

We had to switch rooms because the one we were given flooded, but the staff found another quickly. They were excellent, warm, and attentive, and breakfast was good and plentiful. The building needs maintenance. A standing ovation for the staff, and a gentle reprimand to the owner about upkeep.

It's a shame, because this place has everything it needs to be the best. The bedding was fine, the reservation email response was good, and the price was good too. The new building is very well located and was initially very popular, but our experience didn't match that impression. We had to leave our room key at reception, where anyone could take it. Breakfast was cold, our room wasn't cleaned yesterday, Sunday, and cleanliness was lacking. The building needs maintenance in several areas, and some furniture is in poor condition.

The excursions we booked through the hotel were great, and the rest was top notch too. The place is spacious and well located, with a lovely terrace. Rooms are large, clean, comfortable, and very nice. Breakfast is quite modest, so I'd try to improve it. I'd also add more staff, with better training, to serve tourists well. And I'd allow debit and/or credit card payments, since I understand how essential that is these days.
