WORST HOSTEL IN FIVE MONTHS!! Where to begin... The bed was comfortable, the water was hot, and there’s a TV. That’s the good part. The bathroom was dirty, with mould on the walls and ceiling, and the floor was soaked. Twice there was no toilet paper. I felt grimier after showering than I had before. The kitchen was dark and messy, and one of the sinks didn’t work. I wouldn’t feel safe preparing food there. My dorm was tidy, but only because there were just two people in it. The whole place was hot and humid, and the AC only runs from 8pm to 10am. The staff weren’t friendly or even cheerful. They may be in the wrong job if they don’t want to meet travelers. After traveling through Mexico, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, and now Argentina, I expected more from Argentina’s second-largest city. The owner should take note: there are too many other options to put up with a bad hostel. Close it, renovate the whole place, and hire staff who actually want to work in a hostel and meet travelers!

The team running this hostel are lovely, welcoming, and keep the whole place very clean. There are plenty of bathrooms with nice hot showers, and the shared areas for eating or relaxing stay cool in summer. The kitchen is large and well equipped, and the rooms and beds are comfortable. It’s very central, close to the main plaza in Cordoba. Highly recommended!

The common area is comfortable, and the shared kitchen is big enough to be handy if you want to cook. The room was pretty spacious, too, and the hostel’s location is good. One thing that was inconvenient for me: they only take cash.

The location was the one real plus, and maybe the price, though there are other nearby hostels around the same cost. I really don’t get all the good reviews. I wish I’d listened to the negative ones, because they were pretty accurate. This was the dirtiest place I’ve stayed in, and I’ve been traveling around the world for over a year. The sheets on my bed smelled awful and clearly hadn’t been washed or changed. The replacement sheets smelled clean, but had a lot of hair on them, more than the usual 5-10. The showers seemed like they were never cleaned, and the kitchen was filthy. I couldn’t find a single cup that wasn’t grimy. Loud music played all day, so I don’t know how anyone could call it good for remote work. The internet was very unstable as well. The dorm lockers were broken, and belongings from long-term residents were scattered everywhere, including dirty underwear. The worst place I’ve ever stayed.

The staff, maybe volunteers, were friendly and nice, and that’s about all I can say for the place. This was the worst hostel I’ve stayed in during a year of travel. We arrived late at night and found out they hadn’t done the laundry, so there were no sheets or bedding for us. We couldn’t be bothered finding somewhere else at that hour, but they could have let us know in advance. The hostel was in horrible shape. The kitchen had piles of dirty plates and pans, the bathrooms were strewn with toilet paper and rubbish, and there was mould everywhere. Smoke made all the shared spaces stink. The soap dispensers didn’t work, so they’d put out hand soap covered in hair 😂 The whole place felt dirty and druggy. It seemed like many people were living there permanently, or maybe they were long-term volunteers, I’m not sure. They wandered around early in the morning singing and shouting. Avoid it if you’re going to Cordoba. They ignored our messages before arrival, then finally replied after checkout to ask for a good review. Good joke 😂
