The hotel’s service was completely terrible. I ordered something for one of its guests, and the delivery company told me it had been left at reception. Then it was lost or something. I especially want to mention Jorgelina Arce, who received the package and somehow lost it or took it, I don’t know. What a disappointment.

The rooftop pool runs from December to March, but it was unfortunately closed when I was there in October. There’s air conditioning and a minibar in the room, and breakfast is also available for $16. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is wonderful, close to lots of restaurants, museums, and parks, and it feels very safe. Reception staff speak very good English and know the city well.

The room barely cooled down, and calling reception got us a busy signal. There was trash in the bin and a used bar of soap left by the previous guest, so the room clearly hadn't been cleaned properly. The junior suite also had damaged flooring and shower tiles. We could have overlooked the terrible balcony view because of the city location, but this was nowhere near a suite. I'd strongly avoid this hotel.

6/10
The room was clean and quiet, and breakfast coffee was delicious after my shower. But the room felt worn and needed maintenance. The A/C had a thermostat, though the only way to control the temperature was switching it on and off. There were hardly any amenities, not even tissues or a clock. The blackout curtains were too narrow to meet in the middle, leaving a gap of about 5-6 cm and letting in lots of light. There was plenty of hot water except in the morning, when my shower was barely tepid.

Josefina at the desk was lovely and very helpful, and the rest of the staff made our stay a wonderful one too. The hotel itself is elegant and comfortable, right in the heart of Córdoba.
