Watching condors glide over the valley from the mirador with Adrian was one of the best parts of our stay. He’s a fantastic host, welcoming from the moment we arrived and full of stories about the region and the property. Sentio Camps sits on a spectacular private finca, surrounded by wildlife and beautiful scenery. With only a handful of places to stay, it feels quiet and intimate. The finca also takes environmental and wildlife preservation seriously, which gave the experience extra meaning. We went kayaking on the river, and there’s horseback riding, trekking, biking, and wildlife watching too. The meals were generous and carefully prepared, with a refined touch, and we enjoyed them in a warm atmosphere. It’s still a little-known place in northern Argentina, and a memorable choice if you’re after an immersive, private stay.

We finished our day kayaking in the quiet, surrounded by the rock formations of the Juramento Canyon. Earlier, we’d hiked from the main house through the vineyards to the Juramento River viewpoint, with incredible views along the way. Lunch was a delicious three-course meal served outdoors. The Sentio team were warm, attentive, and very professional, and their care for this special place really came through. We had a wonderful time and will be back.

Arriving at the viewpoint in a 4x4 driven by Adrián was an adventure in itself. The reservoir views were incredible, and the condors seemed close enough to touch. The birdsong and scenery along the way felt like pure nature. Everyone at Sentio Camps was so kind and hospitable, beyond what we expected. They picked us up from our accommodation in Salta and took us to their base. For rafting, they supplied all the gear we needed, including clothing, footwear, a bag for our clothes, and safety equipment. The adventure was BEAUTIFUL!!! The three-course gourmet tasting menu was a treat for the eyes and palate. They also adjusted my dish to suit me: I don’t like sweet potatoes, so they made potatoes instead. Sentio Camps took care of so many details, there’s barely room to describe them all. Congratulations!!!

The views from the natural lookout points are a real highlight, especially the Cabra Corral Reservoir and the Juramento River. It’s a great place to spend a day outside, and a welcome new addition to the region. There’s plenty to do here, including kayaking, rafting, horseback riding, trekking, and electric biking, all in beautiful surroundings. The guides are trained, friendly, and provide excellent service. Lunch is delicious and worth trying, especially with wines made on-site.

Sentio is about feeling and living the good life, and the hosts and staff make the whole experience spectacular. The place is incredible, the activities are a lot of fun, and the food with its wine pairings is the perfect finishing touch. I’ll definitely be back again and again.
