We had a lovely weekend and really switched off. The staff were attentive and helpful, and they sorted out our air-conditioning problem straight away. Breakfast was very complete, and the place itself is simply beautiful. Even the lizard that kept us company became part of the weekend, haha. Juancho, we'll miss you!

The staff are very friendly, and breakfast is generous enough that they let you take home what you don't finish. The complex is tidy and peaceful, in a really quiet neighborhood. It's around ten blocks from the hot springs and fifteen from the shopping center. The pool isn't heated, so it's best enjoyed on hot days.

We stayed for a week over New Year’s, hoping to relax as a couple, and were warmly welcomed and treated kindly throughout. The price felt very fair for what we got, and we had no problems. Check-in was straightforward: we filled in our details, paid in cash, and settled in. We stayed in cabin No. 15, Glisinas, which has a kitchen-dining area, a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom, and its own grill. We chose the breakfast-only rate, though I understand there is also a half-board option. You can eat breakfast at reception or take the full tray back to your room. The grounds are leafy, with palms, grass, and shrubs. There are wooden loungers with cushions and a small table outside each cabin, as well as wooden loungers and tables by the pool; two spots there have shade cloths. The pool water was always clean. You can enter at the shallow end by a few concrete steps, and the deeper end is about 1.50 or 1.60 meters, if I remember right. A corner of the shallow end is like a little pool for children, with adult supervision. There are pool rules, although not everyone follows them, and the staff try to enforce them. Our cabin’s kitchen-dining area had a table, chairs, air conditioning, TV with cable box, stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, and assorted kitchen basics: glasses, cups, cutlery, a knife, wooden spoon, dish towel, sponge, detergent, kettle, glass jug, and paper towels. There was also a drying rack to use outside, plus a broom, dustpan, and floor squeegee. The bathroom had a handheld shower that could be used as a regular shower, with excellent water pressure at all hours. It had a soap dish, a shelf for toiletries like shampoo and conditioner, a toilet, bidet, mirrored vanity, and storage shelves. Towels and bath towels were changed in the morning, as were the sheets, and the room cleaning was done in the morning too. The bedroom had an immaculate double bed, two memory-foam pillows and two decorative ones, air conditioning, blackout and fabric curtains, two bedside tables and lamps, plus a TV with cable box. The simple built-in wardrobe had a door that was half mirror and half wood, three hangers fixed to the rail, and a shelf for clothes or other things. Breakfast included La Virginia instant coffee, milk, orange juice, and yogurt served in jugs, with sugar or sweetener to choose from. There were spreads including cream cheese, jam, dulce de leche, and butter. The basket of baked goods varied, with pastries, toast, or little biscuits, and there was one piece of fruit per person. We were treated very kindly, and would absolutely return. Thank you!
