Cabañas Moconá

Working from the woods was a treat. I needed Wi-Fi for work and it worked perfectly, with its own router in the cabin. Sitting by the stream or waterfall with my laptop and some mate, or a cold drink, beats working in the city. It’s also a spectacular place to unwind. The cabins are very well equipped, even with fire extinguishers. There are a couple of waterfalls on the property, and you’re surrounded by forest sounds. The pool is big and beautiful, right in the woods, and there’s a soccer field too. Getting there is easy. The entrance is on Route 14, then there’s a dirt and stone road, followed by some paths inside that are fine for a car. Suhail and Omar welcomed us warmly, and Tango, their dog, is the best companion for getting around. Suhail’s Venezuelan breakfasts and meals are homemade and fantastic. Everything was great, we’ll be back. Thanks for everything!

The 80-plus hectares are lovely and so well cared for, with plenty of room to wander or just sit with some mate and enjoy the natural setting. The service was excellent, everyone was attentive, and the owner SUHAIL makes delicious little arepas. A great place to relax and stay close to nature, highly recommended!

We were always treated with care, and my partner and I had a wonderful stay. The cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed. There’s no restaurant, so bring food or go into town for groceries. Trails, a pool, and a grill add to the beautiful natural surroundings, with animals around too. A peaceful place to reconnect with nature.

The stream running past is lovely for meditating, and there are marked hiking routes, a pool, and a grill. It’s easy to reach by car or bus. I loved the cool, clean house and having Wi-Fi while still being surrounded by nature. The staff made us feel very welcome. Great for a solo trip or with friends or family, and I’ll definitely come back.
