The internet wasn’t very good in the rooms at the back, which is why I gave four stars instead of five. Otherwise, the room was spotless and very pleasant, and the kitchen was comfortable and fully equipped. The owner was excellent, a polite, efficient, and very friendly older gentleman. Great value for money.
The owners’ warmth made the stay feel impeccable. We rented apartments for three, with a double bed and a single, plus a small fridge and a table. They were cozy, warm, and tidy, with a closet and cable TV. There’s a shared kitchen with a cooktop, microwave, cutlery, and dishes, but no oven. Wi-Fi is available, though it doesn’t reach the apartments at the back near the kitchen, so I took off a star. Others may feel differently about that.
The place was the opposite of the comfortable stay we expected. The owner always seemed in a bad mood, and we felt watched and guarded all the time. The kitchen was too small for the number of rooms. There were three of us and we couldn’t all fit. Hygiene was lacking too, with cobwebs everywhere. I’d touch them whenever I took out a utensil. My daughter slept terribly in her single bed, and that mattress really needs replacing. 👎
Just two blocks from the center, and cheap. I had an excellent stay.
The owners are very welcoming, and the apartments are lovely: bright, airy, fully equipped, and with kitchens. They’re surrounded by a flower garden, close to the city center but still quiet at night. Highly recommend!
