We had a lovely three nights in December. The owners were very friendly, and the location is beautiful, especially in the morning when Lago Argentina is in view. The center is about 3 km away, so you’ll need a car unless you enjoy walking. Uber is an option.

The owner made us feel like cherished guests, and was helpful, informative, and very kind. Our cabin and its surroundings were cozy and comfortable. It’s right by the lake, with a lovely path through the wetlands into downtown. There’s great birdwatching along the way. We enjoyed every day of our stay.

We had a great stay. The facilities are lovely, and the views are stunning. This must be one of the best places to stay in El Calafate.

The cabin was spotless and thoughtfully furnished, with lots of personal touches. All four of us were comfortable, and the place was wonderfully quiet. The owners were first class. They even provide charcoal for the bbq. I highly recommend it and only wish we could have stayed longer.
