From the bedroom upstairs, we had lovely lake views, and my wife and I spent a lot of time enjoying a drink while looking out at them. Walk out the door and the lake is right in front of you. We followed the shore to a supermarket about 10 minutes away, which made for a wonderful, almost heavenly stay. We were in Flamenco Bay for a week, and the apartment was really comfortable, with a big kitchen and refrigerator, a very clean bathroom, and a great shower. Melisa and Marcos were caring and quick to help when anything came up. They even let us get our clothes washed, which was a big help. We’re very grateful to them and hope to see them again!

Marcos was a thoughtful host and took care of everything we needed to make the stay a great one. The place is in a quiet area, just a block from the waterfront, with shops nearby so you have what you need. We really appreciated it.

I loved staying here. The houses are tidy, clean, pretty, and well located, a perfect place to stay in El Calafate. It’s a charming city too.

We were out most of the day for an activity, so the apartment worked fine for showering and sleeping. It was comfortable and pleasant, and the service was attentive. But over our 10 days there was just one cleaning. We could hear and feel what people in neighboring apartments were saying and doing. The microwave couldn’t be used because its plug didn’t fit the outlet, and the TV had no cable or service, so neither appliance was any use.

Melisa and Marcos were excellent hosts, always close by and available when we needed something. I stayed in these basic apartments for a few months, including during quarantine, and they had all the essentials. The location is enviable, only 50 meters from the lake. An amazing stay. Thanks, guys!
