The rooms were comfortable and nice, and the staff were always helpful, but we found it a bit pricey for the service. Noise was a problem, both from outside and from the hallways and other rooms. The city centre is a 10-15 min walk away, which could be tough in winter or on a very cold or windy night. Breakfast was average. The coffee wasn’t good, nearly all the choices contained gluten, and there were no milk alternatives. We also didn’t like having to walk through the restaurant in our swimsuits to reach the swimming pool while people were having dinner. Depending on your room, it can be a bit of a walk to the pool. The bathroom in our room was a normal size, and the room itself was clean and comfortable.

The hotel looks modern and beautiful outside, but the rooms feel very old school. The twin beds are tiny, 80cmx190cm. We could hear neighbours snoring, showering, talking, and even using the bathroom through the paper-thin walls, not just the people next door, so sleeping was impossible. The staff were quite unfriendly and completely inflexible.

The town is only about 6 blocks long, so pretty much everything is within walking distance. I was told this is the best hotel in town. Considering the population is just 35,000, it has most of the essentials, including a bidet.

The entrance is gorgeous, with a view of the mountains, and I loved it. It’s about a 10 minute walk from downtown. The rooms are cute and spacious, and the big heated pool is awesome on cold days.
