Laura and Fabio made us feel at home right away. They were attentive, generous with recommendations, and glad to suggest things to do and places to visit nearby. The cabin itself was spotless, warm, comfortable, and had everything we needed to unwind after a day out. You can see how much care goes into the details. Pitihue is a place with genuinely welcoming hosts as well as a great stay. We’d gladly return and recommend it.
This is my favorite place I’ve stayed in all my travels, by far. Laura, the owner, gave me an experience I won’t soon forget. The apartment sits on an unpaved road, and I hope it stays that way because the neighborhood feels so cozy. Everything is walkable, from the trailheads to bars, restaurants, and shops. I could pick out my Pitihué apartment by its color in the photos I took looking down at the village after hikes. I’d planned to post photos of the place, but the existing ones look just like mine. If you’re staying in El Chaltén, this is a dream apartment in a dream village for a hiker. Thank you🙏
Laura and her team were wonderful hosts in Patagonia. Everything was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. I highly recommend staying here while you’re in El Chaltén.
Pitihue Aparts was a lovely place to rest and recharge after each day. It’s in a fantastic spot in Chalten, within easy walking distance of all the hikes, and Laura was easy to reach. The apartment felt spacious and cozy, with beautiful furnishings. I can’t recommend it enough.
Coming back to the apartment after long hikes was such a treat. It was comfortable, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed, and the hosts were so warm and helpful. Laura was especially accommodating when limited availability meant we had booked two different rooms. She arranged things so we could stay in one room for the whole visit.
