They gave us a place to leave our luggage before check in and after check out, so we could plan around our flight. Everyone was friendly. Each day between 6-8pm they leave breakfast for the next morning: toast, yogurt, juice, fresh fruit, and things like butter and jam, plus 2 fresh eggs. It’s really handy for planning treks around the weather, and you won’t go hungry if places open late. There’s a very hot shower, much appreciated when it’s often freezing out. The place is almost next to the Cerro Torre trail entrance, and a 10min walk from the paved part of town, which is compact and easy to get around. Would recommend.

Alan at the front desk made my trip to El Chalten. He was the first person I spoke with there, made me feel welcome, and right away gave me great restaurant suggestions. Since it was my first time hiking, he also explained which trails to take and how long they’d take. Great spot, 10/10 recommend.

The staff are friendly, and it’s really good value. Rooms are spacious, the kitchen is well equipped, and the breakfast is basic but perfectly fine.

The apartment was quiet and clean, and everything is within walking distance. We had great cooking facilities, and the receptionist was really helpful with advice about hikes, weather, and the town. Breakfast each day was just right, enough to keep us going on our morning hikes. Highly recommended.
