We first came in 2009, and honestly, I thought it was much better then. There were fewer cabins, it felt more family-oriented, and the owners took part in every detail, so the stay felt more personal and welcoming. Service was better too. The property is beautiful, well located, and very safe, with lovely grounds and a great pool. But you can hear everything from the neighboring cabins, and our bathroom was small. The kitchen had very few utensils, some worn and dirty, just enough for the number of guests. There were leaks in the bathroom and kitchen sink drains. Our porch table could use a metal cover overhead so it could be used in the rain. The receptionist didn't seem to have the best attitude. A few things were missing from our cabin; one was sorted out after we asked, and the owner happened to be there. The TV didn't work because of the Wi-Fi signal, though cell service did. My son found the bunk bed very uncomfortable.

Juan was wonderful with us, and the menu had plenty to choose from. The pasta was especially good. We were welcomed so warmly, and at night the views under the stars, surrounded by nature, were beautiful. It's a lovely spot for some peace and quiet and a friendly welcome. Highly recommended. We're already looking forward to coming back for our next vacation.

The location and the restaurant were the only things that made this stay worthwhile. The food there was delicious, and the staff were genuinely friendly, but I wouldn't return or recommend the place. The cabins are the most expensive in the canyon, and we weren't expecting a bargain. Still, the room was tiny, the bathroom minuscule, and we had to ask for new mattresses. The bottom sheets were small and didn't have elastic. Once we moved the lower bed so my daughter could sleep, there was hardly room to walk around. There was no Wi-Fi, which also meant no TV. I run a business and needed connectivity, but when I raised it, Daniela, the owner, ignored me completely. Someone at the property told me to use the chance to disconnect. 😳😳😬😬 These days, Wi-Fi is essential.

It's a lovely place, but the cabin cleaning was really poor. Everyone we talked to there seemed to agree, so it'd be good to see that improved. We also ate at Biguá. My gnocchi with Bolognese sauce was the worst thing I ate. My husband ordered breaded cutlets with fried eggs, but they said they had no eggs. Strange. I hope this comes across as a friendly comment and is helpful.

The garden, restaurant, benches, and pool were nice, and the Sanber family are lovely. But the room cleaning shouldn't be neglected, and the internet problems need to be fixed. You can't go on vacation without internet when you need access to home alarms, cameras, or remote work equipment. Being isolated isn't an option for everyone. These are the valley's most expensive cabins, so they need to invest in connectivity. The minimum stay rule is also controversial and inconvenient. At this price, everything should be perfect; otherwise they should lower the cost, since there are more economical options with the same kind of service. I'd give it 2.75 stars.
