If you can't handle a hot room at night, expect to sweat: the room was sealed up and there was no air conditioning. Arriving late also means nobody will be there to welcome you. For an early departure, bring breakfast with you, since it doesn't start until 8:30. Cheers.

We had a very peaceful Christmas at Hostería Andina, and the staff kindly let us use what we needed to prepare our meals. The village was practically deserted. There aren't many options nearby, just a supermarket, a small general store, and a restaurant with delicious food at reasonable prices. We had no car, but enjoy walking, so the distance from the center of Esquel wasn't a problem, even though that's the one downside. We stayed four nights, and the place was welcoming, with lovely decor, a spacious room, and excellent service. Breakfast had a variety of tasty options, and guests can use the heated pool at the Ayelén Complex a few meters away. We highly recommend it. They clearly do all they can to make guests want to return. Date of stay: December 2025

We had a great time. The rooms are spacious and very nice, and the owners were excellent. Good breakfast too, and a king-size bed is a must.
