Posada Las Aguas

The river scenery and quiet setting at Posada Las Aguas stood out, as did the attentive staff, from reception and breakfast through to housekeeping. Apartment 2 Junior, though, needs work. Some furniture needs repair, and the TV signal is so unstable that watching anything is impossible. The closet has shelves but no drawers, which would be useful for delicate clothes in this often-windy area. Also, with the bedroom door shut, a broom, bucket, and rags are left right outside it. The rest was acceptable.

We arrived today for what was meant to be a six-night stay, but we're still searching for somewhere else after a really bad experience. The place had looked peaceful and attractive. Then we found stained comforters, and the double-bed sheets were dirty too, covered in hair and stains. The receptionist kindly tried to replace them, only to uncover damp, stained pillows and huge marks on the mattress. It was all dirty underneath as well. They refunded us, but we lost a day of vacation. The microwave was filthy, and there was food in the sink.

A lovely spot for a few restful days by the river, with a pool too ♡. The rooms are comfortable, breakfast was impeccable, and the place is very well maintained.

The breakfast buffet was delicious and had plenty of options, and the river view from the rooms and pool is incredible. The decor is lovely, and the service felt really warm. We had a great time and would happily return. Highly recommend it. Thank you!
