La Olivia Hotel Boutique & Spa

The beds were comfortable, the curtains blocked the light well, and breakfast was very good. The place was nice and clean. My one complaint is the spa masseuses, who need more training to give good massages.

The staff were friendly and clearly meant well, and they tried to offer alternatives, but none lived up to what had been advertised. We left early because there wasn't an acceptable option. We had booked a two-bedroom apartment through booking.com for a countryside break from BA; the photos made it look great. Instead, it was in the basement, with a view of a wall. When it rained, water rushing through the channels made an unbearable noise, like fireworks on the balcony, and kept us awake all night. When we complained, we were asked if we had checked whether the room would be in the basement. I wouldn't expect to have to ask that of a hotel calling itself boutique.

The breakfast had a generous variety of fresh, tasty choices, and the water meditation class left me completely relaxed after the pool session, with sea salt said to have many benefits. Lautaro at reception was incredibly kind and courteous. Our apartment exceeded expectations, and they decorated it with balloons for my son Cristian's birthday. They even made pastries, including one personalized with his name. The hotel's lovely cat wandered around and kept us company. Hotel La Olivia is a beautiful place to spend a few restful days surrounded by nature. The warm welcome, service, location, and peaceful atmosphere are all reasons I’ll recommend it. Thank you for making us feel so welcome!
