An easy place to reach, with facilities better than average and plenty for kids, plus spa services. It's a nice three-star family resort and a good base for a 3-4 night visit to the Calamuchita region.

The pools were great, especially the heated indoor one where we spent some time. Our room was nice and even had a BBQ for making asado. I wish we could have stayed longer.

The staff were very nice and tried hard to deal with our concerns, but the place needs better management if it wants to compete with resorts worldwide. The apartments were newer and more modern than the duplex, which felt outdated. Its deck and grill definitely need work. The property is beautiful, though it needs more maintenance, and one pool and the jacuzzi weren't working.

We'd been driving for 13 hours, and since it was a bank holiday in Argentina, we felt we had to accept the rooms we were eventually offered. Three hours after arriving, we were shown three other rooms and could choose among them. The next day we called reception to ask someone to fix the hot and cold water. It was the first time we'd had an experience like this. Now that you know what happened, I hope it won't be yours. We arrived at 6:30 pm but didn't get a room until 9:30. The first pair of rooms in the "superior" part of the hotel were incomplete, with workers inside, paint and construction dust, a ceiling leak in one, and no hot water. When we went back to reception, the same staff made us wait while other customers arrived. The younger receptionist passed the problem to the youngest girl, who walked between reception and the rooms, about 500 meters away, for around 40 minutes. The next two rooms they tried to give us in that complex had the same problems: dirt, workers, and no hot water in one. We wanted to speak with a manager, but the first receptionist said she was sorry and couldn't do more. She wouldn't give us the manager's phone number, even though they'd been speaking with the manager by phone and saying the manager was on holiday and didn't want to talk to us. There were three young people at reception and no manager available to speak with us. They spent a long time explaining the hotel rules and said rooms wouldn't be cleaned daily because of Covid restrictions, but nobody in the office wore a mask. Two days later, an older receptionist told us the real problem was that the hotel had expanded too quickly without adding staff. The place has a lot of potential, but this was an absolutely awful experience.

Each unit has a patio or deck with a table for four and a traditional Argentine BBQ pit, which we loved. The rooms were attractive, very clean, modern, and simple. Breakfast was included, a simple, dry spread with croissants, butter, cheese spread, fruit spread, and quite a bit more. There was a heated indoor pool and an outdoor pool. The sauna wasn't working, and the large hot tub had very weak jets. Spa massages were hard to schedule. WiFi was very slow. In the room closest to check-in it was unusable, and they never fixed it despite three requests. Our friends in 104 had better service. They provided dice and Argentine cards, which was nice, but when we asked for extra dice for Liar's Dice, they said no.
