Hotel Euzko Alkartasuna

Better than I expected!

Great parking, friendly and professional staff, and an excellent breakfast 👌. Dinner was a great option too. I got the rest I needed before carrying on with my journey, and I'd gladly come back.

The place is beautiful and right in the city center, and I'm happy with the cleanliness. But as someone who's stayed here often since it reopened years ago, I've watched the rooms wear down and have raised it with the front desk. Most mattresses are worn out, some lampshades are broken, bulbs are out, the bathroom fixtures and faucets are in bad shape, and the walls are dirty. The price doesn't match what's being offered. It needs a substantial investment to get back to its former glory.

The dinner at the restaurant was unfortunately a bad experience, and it stood out against everything else. I'd rather not go into details, but that's the reason for the one star deduction. On the positive side, the hotel is old but very well maintained, and the service is what stands out. There were five of us, two adults and three teenagers, so we booked two rooms with a shared bathroom. That worked great and was excellent value. I also needed to do a TV interview and asked to use the restaurant. Mrs. Tamara was prompt and extremely kind, and I wanted to mention her. Thank you, Tamara. We'll definitely stay with you again when traveling west.
