I used to stay here and loved the atmosphere, but after this visit I won't be back. It felt like a cold prison. The reception staff stayed shut away in the warm room, so you had to phone them to get in or out. The doors were left open all day, but they didn't light the wood burner. He just left the sheets on my bed and said I had to make it myself.

Great value for money in the dorms, and the showers are always hot and clean. There's secure parking too. It's a very good place, and Juan is a lovely owner. Highly recommend it to anyone coming to Salta!

The room was pretty comfortable, and the kitchen was nice, but two young guys working there played music very loudly beside the dorm. It wasn't the middle of the night, but it was still far too noisy. They listened to loud music, yet didn't like it when people knocked on the entrance door. When the door was shut, I had to knock hard for them to hear over the music. One of them called me “Loquito” when my knocking was too hard. If you don't like the smell of marihuana, this place may not suit you. They smelled of it, and they came into the room, leaving it smelling of marihuana. The owner seemed like a good man, but some improvement and education are needed.

The patio is huge, with tables and chairs where you can enjoy the natural surroundings. The beds are very comfortable, and the service was impeccable. I loved the rustic look and all the beautiful decorations. Rooms with private bathrooms are spacious and comfortable, while the shared bathroom rooms have just enough space to relax. Highly recommended.
