La Paleta Del Pintor Hosteria

The owners’ warm, hands-on hospitality really made our couple of nights at La Paleta del Pintor in Maimará. They were always happy to help and gave us local trip suggestions that made our stay even better. We appreciated the thoughtful breakfast, prepared with local ingredients and homemade products. The setting is beautiful, and all the personal touches made it a lovely place to stay. We’d happily recommend it to other visitors.

Having a whole little house to ourselves gave us plenty of privacy, and I really loved the clean, nicely decorated rooms. The hotel sits between Tilcara and Purmamarca, which works well with a vehicle but is less convenient without one. Breakfast costs extra, and ordering it through the service felt a bit overpriced for what you get, though it was decent. I’d recommend the place to friends and stay again.

We stayed in the orange room and came back to it cleaned after our walks, which was such a nice touch. Everything was spotless, carefully thought out, and even smelled lovely. The house has a beautiful interior full of details, a cosy courtyard with plants and furniture, and a kitchen. You can tell how much care and love has gone into every corner. The book in our room shared the place’s history and useful travel tips. It was a great spot to step away from work and city bustle for a couple of days, with walking trails nearby. The staff were always around to answer questions and made the stay feel easy and comfortable. Breakfast is traditional, delicious, and beautifully presented. We also loved the excellent, relaxed dinners. We bought some of the handmade cosmetics, too, and the quality and scents were lovely. Thank you, Marina, Fabricio, and all the staff!!!
