Andrea is incredibly kind and helpful, always attentive to whatever comes up, and she surprised us with a wonderful complimentary spread on the 31st to welcome the new year. It's super pet-friendly, too. The cabin faces the woods on the last street. I never felt unsafe; the quiet was lovely, and even during those hot coastal days the cabin stayed cool. Each cabin has its own grill, which is a nice touch. Although everything is “close” to the center or beach, you'll still want a car unless you plan to walk. The kitchen supplies were barely enough, and what was there was used and in poor condition. Cleaning was quite poor. It isn't done daily, which wouldn't bother me, but they cleaned the whole cabin with Cif cream, antifungal cleaner, and a rag that was all that was left in the bathroom, and there wasn't any other cleaning product. They didn't even mop, just swept. The last time they came, I'd already made the bed, and they were done in five minutes. Maybe I'm demanding, but even the sheets were changed without ironing. The towels were fine. The double bed was okay, though small at 1.40 meters. The shower in the Piedra cabin was unusable, with barely enough water for my husband, who has short hair, to wash his head. We arrived Friday the 26th and would have left by Sunday. We stayed because friends said the heat in Buenos Aires, where we're from, was unbearable. We'd planned to stay from the 26th through the 2nd to be near the sea on the 31st, but by midmorning on the 1st, after the 31st had passed, we were already heading home. The first few days we had internet problems, so there was no TV until Monday either, since it's a smart TV. Fortunately Andrea got it sorted by Monday the 29th. For me and many others, that was a workday, and I needed the connection, so I could meet the requirements. In the end, it shows promise with a little more maintenance.
