The staff were helpful and nice, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. A great option, especially since it stays open all year.

The rooms got very hot because the fans wouldn't run, making strange noises, and maintenance seemed to be lacking. The shower curtain was too short, so water splashed across the bathroom floor, and there was no mini-fridge to keep even drinking water cold. Breakfast was okay, though the choices were limited and there was nothing gluten-free. The staff were friendly but inflexible: we asked for a particular room and were given a different one without being told first. The location was excellent.

The best part for me was the area: the mall is half a block away, Güemes is two blocks away, and it feels very safe with everything nearby. Carolina is generous with recommendations, and the breakfast staff are really helpful. Breakfast is served at your table and you can have as much as you like. It’s a budget, two-star hotel, so I don’t get what some people expect. It was very clean throughout my stay. Once, after rain, there were footprints on the reception floor when I arrived at 6 a.m., but it was spotless after that. Towels were changed every day, breakfast was included, and the friendly staff provided what I needed. If you want scrambled eggs and fruit, go to La Fonte. I paid $35,000 there for two toasted breads with coffee and milk. The hotel is $30,000 per person, so I don’t think it’s fair to expect that kind of breakfast at that price. And if your idea of a movie night is the Hilton in New York, this two-star hotel in Mar del Plata isn’t going to be like that.

The room was really functional, and the bathroom was spacious. They cleaned it after we went out, and we didn’t notice anything unusual. The staff, including the people at breakfast, were friendly and helpful. I had a fantastic long weekend and would definitely return. The only small drawback was that the Wi-Fi didn’t reach our room well enough for Netflix.
