Hotel Tivoli

Good afternoon. Does anyone know the hotel's current phone number? The number on the website doesn't answer. Thanks very much.

For two adults and two kids, I paid 60,000 pesos a night. The rooms had a heavy damp smell and were in poor condition, the bathrooms were tiny, and breakfast was very skimpy. The next day I moved to another hotel for half the price and got a much better room and a more generous, complete breakfast.

The staff treated us well, and hot water was a plus. But there’s a lot else the hotel needs to improve. We paid 30,000 pesos for the night, or 15,000 per person, and the sheets were ancient. The double bed was just two singles pushed together. For the cost of one night, they could buy a new set. Our room had only a small window high up. The bathroom was ridiculous, with the shower right beside the toilet. At least you could sit down to shower, if you wanted to look on the bright side. The TV was 14 inches and had no cable. Someone might ask whether it had Telefé or Channel 13, but no, just public TV, Encuentro, LN, and similar channels. When I complained, I was told, “That’s what we have.” The Wi-Fi worked only one night out of two. We didn’t try breakfast. Hot water cost 400 pesos per token, while the gas station across from the lighthouse gave it away free. I now understand why the hotel has two pages on Google Maps.

We had a balcony room and everything was great. The cleaning was really good, and everyone was always friendly.
