Really handy if you're arriving late by bus. For the price, it's perfect. The room was clean and nice and cool when I got there. The air conditioning is loud, but it works. Breakfast was like most places in Argentina, fine, not great.

The location couldn't be better, and staff were really friendly and helpful. They looked after my luggage before check-in and after checkout. The rooms were clean and everything worked, though I'm not a fan of carpets, just a personal thing. Breakfast was very simple, but overall it's good value. Thank you, Staff of Puerta del Sol.

The gentlemen in the lobby were excellent and accommodating, and I had a very pleasant stay. I was skeptical at first because of the prices and reviews, but trust me, it's a good place to rest and sleep. This is right in the center of Mendoza. The hotel is very old and classic, and I'm sure it was one of the best a long time ago. For what you pay, though, it's very good. If you don't want to spend much and would rather save your money for wine and food, it has everything you need to get a good rest.
