Cabanas Parparim

The park is lovely and well located, but those are the only two positives I can mention. The cabins need serious improvement, and I hope the feedback is taken constructively. It’s embarrassing to have to write this, but future visitors should know. Cleanliness was poor throughout: the bathroom was dirty, everything had cobwebs, and the linens and utensils were in bad shape. The sheets were torn and very worn, and clearly weren’t a matching set. The pool water was green and there were lots of spiders. I suggest staying somewhere else.

The one thing going for the place is its fairly good location, close to the supermarket. The rest really isn’t recommendable. The cabin and linens were noticeably unhygienic, and the pool was so dirty you couldn’t see the bottom. It was full of spiders. That can happen anywhere, but regular cleaning and pool treatment could prevent it. There’s more I could say, but I’ll leave it there.

Everything was awful. It was all broken, run-down, and in terrible shape. The black pillows were disgusting, and this was the most expensive place we paid for on the whole trip. Really bad.

We booked a cabin for four, though there were just two of us. It had the basics, but several things didn’t work right. The stove barely burned properly, and the water heater kept switching off. We visited in winter, so the shower water was freezing and we couldn’t bathe. I’m not sure I’d return in winter. The rest of the facilities were basic too, nothing fancy.
