Estancia Colome

The meal was a real highlight of our trip through the Calchaquí Valleys. The food was outstanding, with generous portions of well-made farm-to-table dishes from the organic garden and local farm. The chef lets the regional flavors come through without making things complicated. The restaurant’s design suits its setting beautifully. Natural stone and wood, clean lines, big windows, and a terrace looking out over vineyards and mountains all blend into the Andean landscape. It feels modern while still respecting the old winery, and the atmosphere is peaceful and luxurious at once.

The evening wine tasting and museum tour made this stay unforgettable, especially the final “sky view” exhibit, which is exclusively for hotel guests. I won’t spoil it, go see it for yourself. The hotel has only nine guest rooms, and that intimate feel, along with the remote location, is what makes it so special. Our room was huge and comfortable, the staff were super friendly, and the little gifts in the room were delightful. Dinner was delicious, and breakfast on the lovely terrace was a treat. It’s the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in for the whole experience.

We dropped in without a booking and they kindly welcomed us in for a glass. The wine was absolutely delicious, and the staff were friendly and attentive. It’s beautifully decorated and has a great atmosphere. Definitely worth a stop if you’re nearby.

The setting at Bodega y Estancia Colomé is breathtaking and wonderfully peaceful. Our room was comfortable, with lovely vineyard views and a cozy fireplace. The meals were delicious and top quality, but the wines stood out most. Getting to drink wines grown right at the hotel made the experience feel unique. Hotel guests can visit the James Turrell Museum and take a private Estate Tour, which was a nice extra. Service was excellent overall, though the drinks service at the pool could be a little better. Thank you Colomé, we had a memorable, luxurious stay and I highly recommend it.
