Apart Hotel Aires del Mar

The location is hard to beat, right opposite the beach and a short walk from the town center. Still, the apartment was nothing like the photos. There was a strong musty smell, and the shower didn't always have hot water. My son showered upstairs and water leaked onto the ground floor. The kind manager told the owner, but nothing was done. The sheets were sandy and stained, the single beds had no pillows, the TVs didn't work, and the upstairs air conditioning was broken. The kitchen had no pots, dish soap, or lighter. Parking cost extra, so we used a cheaper covered spot around the corner on the ground floor. For the price, the facilities really fall short.

Being right by the beach and pedestrian walkway made it easy to get everywhere. We had a lovely stay at Apart Hotel Aires del Mar. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and very nice, and we’d happily come back. One detail was off: we booked for four, but there were only enough linens, dishes, and amenities for three.

The morning and afternoon staff member was especially lovely and friendly, and the administrative service was very good. They also change the towels once a day. Our apartment, though, had a heavy musty odor, and the TVs didn't work. One didn't even have a remote. One bed hadn't been made, and had no sheet or pillow. It's a shame the place has been allowed to get run down, because it's very nice. Given its condition, the price feels high. The location is excellent.

You’re paying for what may be the best location in Necochea, and it isn’t cheap. The women who run the place are very nice, but the rest was awful. We couldn’t even find the parking garage. The hygiene was disgusting, the light fixtures were hanging loose, and the comforters had stains of who-knows-what. They didn’t change the towels during our six days. A shame. I won’t stay here again.
