Galeon Mar del Plata Hotel

Our room worked perfectly for a couple and two kids, and we really liked it. Everything is close by, thanks to the excellent location. The hotel is nice, clean, and well maintained, with a very friendly staff. We were pleasantly surprised by how plentiful and tasty the breakfast was. We’ll definitely return.

I come to Mar del Plata often for work, and after looking around for a long time, I’ve found the place I’ll keep choosing. The staff’s hospitality makes it feel like home, and they’re always there to help you feel comfortable. You can tell this is a family-run place that’s cared for with love. The service was spectacular, every area was spotless, and the rooms always smelled lovely. The rooms were also beautiful and comfortable, and breakfast was very complete. Thank you!

It’s a simple place with a nice location and comfortable rooms, and it’s very family-friendly. Good for walking around, though the noise might make it less ideal if you’re looking to relax. I wouldn’t really say it’s for couples.

We were able to reserve parking in the building across the street, and there’s a handy option to eat in the breakfast area. You can buy food from a deli or order through an app, then use the hotel’s dishes. Cristian and everyone else treated us so well, and I want to thank them. The breakfast was a real highlight, way beyond what I expected: homemade bread, fruit, avocado, pudding, yogurt, cereal, cherry tomatoes, pastries, and fresh sandwiches made by the owner herself. Everything was delicious. We stayed as a couple over the November 21st to 24th long weekend, and were truly delighted with the hotel. I’d been most concerned about the bed and bathroom, but both exceeded my expectations. In our room the lighting could have been better, since it was quite dim in both the bedroom and bathroom. The shower filled with a little water, though it didn’t flood, and it had a baseboard. Those were minor details.
