Hotel San Cayetano

The dining room was there for guests to use, and even though it’s small, you can work out a time with the others. Breakfast was very complete, and we had hot and cold water any time of day. This was our third stay, and the owners always make us feel comfortable and looked after. We had a wonderful few days and would definitely come back.

We were so uncomfortable that after showering and changing, we left for another hotel, even though it meant losing the money. My wife and I arrived late and tired after a long trip, and the photos had given us the wrong impression. The service was poor, and the price was high compared with other places at the same rate. I’d booked by phone and left a deposit, but they insisted on the balance when we got there. Unfortunately, we don’t have photos of our own to show. I’d suggest checking the place in person before booking.

The owners were very friendly and the room was clean, but the mattress was so saggy that I was sleeping on the springs. I couldn’t get any rest, and that ruined the rating I was going to give. When you pay for a room, you expect to be able to sleep. I don’t recommend it.

We stayed in two rooms and both had the same problems. In the second, the sink was held up off the floor with a piece of wood. The bathrooms were more than cramped: one sink was clogged and flooded, tiles were broken, everything was damp and moldy, and the shower curtain was unusable. It was disgusting. The rooms were below basic and the service was mediocre. Honestly, this was the worst weekend I’ve ever spent anywhere. Calling this a three-star hotel feels like a rip-off. Even one star is too generous.
