La Morada

Great cooperation and service, and a really good place to stay.

Rubén and Marta stayed in touch and made the experience feel personal. They'd stop by in the afternoons with fruit, and we could chat and enjoy the time together. The included breakfast was complete, too. The house seems old-fashioned but has been renovated as a hotel. Our room was lovely, with a good Smart TV that also had cable, so we could pick what to watch. The bathroom was nice and the shower excellent. There was a minibar, snacks for a simple breakfast, and a rocking chair. We had a street-facing balcony, though the heat meant we only used it at night. From the room, we could access the patio, then go down to a shared balcony and on to the garden. The pool there was just the right size to cool off in. We had an excellent stay and enjoyed it a lot.

Marta, Rubén, and their colleague María Inés are what make you want to come back. The “Team” Marta welcomed us so warmly and made us feel like family right away. They open their home to guests, and that kind of personal attention is hard to find these days. La Morada has just six rooms, with the sophistication of a luxury hotel and a warm, homey feeling. Our room was spacious, modern, and beautifully decorated, with a high-quality mattress and premium linens. It had a 50" Smart TV, a safe, and a large modern bathroom, plus a reading or work area and good Wi-Fi. There was also a complimentary corner with an electric kettle, coffee, different teas, and fine china. The room had two ways in, from inside or straight from the garden, so the pool was only a few steps away. The garden was full of plants and flowers, surrounding an immaculate heated pool that was ideal for disconnecting. Everything throughout the property was exceptionally clean. Breakfast was a table-served meal in a tastefully decorated room, not the usual buffet. We had orange and grapefruit juice, toast, tea, finger sandwiches, nuts, croissants, and fruit cups. It was all fresh and very good quality. An impeccable place with extraordinary people. We’ll definitely recommend it and return.
