Alto del Monte

Ramiro and his son Juan were wonderful hosts, always kind and ready to help guests. We had a lovely vacation at Altos del Monte and will definitely return. The river access was spectacular, and the beach was incredibly peaceful. Chañarito was a beautiful, well-equipped cabin, and the grounds and pool were well maintained. Housekeeping every other day was excellent, and they offered fresh towels, bath towels, and sheets whenever we needed them.

There’s a path to the river very close by, and the location is handy for tourist spots while still being quiet and away from the bustle. The owner gave us a warm welcome and stayed attentive during our visit. The cabin had thoughtful touches, and the rooms were spacious and clean. Housekeeping is provided, though breakfast is not included. Cabañas Alto del Monte exceeded what we expected. I’d stay again and recommend it.

The river access and pool were both great, and the grounds are beautiful. Everything was impeccable, a 10 out of 10. Thanks so much.

Being near Nono, with easy river access in a good area, is a real plus, and the pool is very nice. The cabin is well built, and the refrigerator and stove are quite good. The covered parking space is narrow and too short for a truck, though. I also think breakfast should be included, especially since the place is outside town. There was no room cleaning, at least not every two days, which was the arrangement left after the pandemic. Two windows have mosquito nets, but the bedroom window needs one too so it can be opened. There are two ceiling fans, but with how warm the weather has become, the place needs better safe, mosquito-free ventilation or air conditioning. It was hot over the weekend, and summer is hotter.
