The hotel feels like it has seen better days, and the rooms aren't anything special, though they’re quiet and have what you need. The staff are friendly and helpful. After a day driving around, relaxing by the pool with a cold beer is hard to beat. Santa Fe gets really hot in December.

Early in the morning the hot water was seriously cold. I raised it with the front desk, but they didn't offer any solution.

The hotel is clean and pleasant, and the service is good. The pool gets busy in the afternoon with people who aren't staying there, so hotel guests could use priority for the loungers. I'd also like to see the pool cleaned better, along with better breakfast and food and drink service for guests and visitors. With those changes, it would be a 10. Getting around is another thing to plan for: it's a good distance from the city center, so having a car is essential.
